I just finished and loved your new book, having read the two previous, related ones and shared them with friends. I have also recently discovered the work of a ideological competitor to Milton Friedman on economic theory, Karl Polanyi, The Great Transformation. That work has gained academic interest in the past ten years. I wondered whether you were familiar with his theory of the market systems constituted of a double movement, laissez-faire/free market growth countered by public resistance to protect society and the natural environment. I thought this might be useful to you to support and supplement your arguments. His work looks at the historical development of capitalism. I discovered him through the academic, Raj Patel, who relies on his economic thought.
I just thought you might be interested in this. Keep up the good work, and I will spread the word and include your ideas in my work.
